Remember to Look at the Pictures for Clues

I wouldn't think that Marlboro is promoting all of these places on their web site so that we would look at them quickly and click on them to earn points for the last contest.   My guess is that by giving clues from the pictures, it will make millions of people look at those places and remember them.   I think that they have a great marketing manager!  So for those of you who are upset "because there could be so many answers," remember to look for the clues!!!

Here is a link for the images.  I think that 15 and 36 are missing.  If anyone has them, will you share your link.

Week 2-Clue 10

Oftentimes, an establishment establishes an institution.  In this case, an institution's name helped establish an establishment in each of the four western locales below.  Without proof, put them in order of the establishment's institution, from oldest to youngest.

A.  California's Oldest Little City
B.  Montana's Electric City
C.  The City That Knows How
D.  The Silver State's Wells

Week 2-Clue 9

Usually, getting from one side to the other is a piece of cake.  But knowing where you're at can be trickier.  Match the river crossings at left to the bodies of water they've provided passage over.

Columbia River
Missouri River
Arkansas River
Colorado River

Check out Google Images to compare photos.  And remember, they're asking what bodies of water they've provided passage OVERhttp://www.google.com/imghp

One clue other than the museum is this picture.

Week 2-Clue 7

You can find place after place out west, miles from any body of water, where a lighthouse can frequently be found next to yellow paint.  What kind of place?  a(n) _ _ _ _ _

Check out this link.

There has also been some discussion that diners in the west are called grills.

Week 2-Clue 6

This mile-high roamer may have grazed on four legs.  Never mind who he is, in what year was he first reported making the rounds with one fewer?   _ _ _ _

Could this be a hint?

Week 1-Clue 5

On the fabled tenth of May, there was much hoopla and hooray, but it was all a bluff.  Because even with the Douglas folks and the Council celebrating, a body of water still seperated them.  What two burgs still seemed oceans apart?
